Sport is my life

Running Coach Training to Integrate Sports into Social Services!

My name is Ibrahima Diallo (56 years old) and I work in the social sector. Through sports, I help and support former addicts and people with health issues at the “Grüner Kreis” association, where I serve as the director of sports.
Through active leisure activities, patients can once again engage in a variety of sports intensively and find their own routine. My role is to enable them to have an active and enjoyable experience with sports and to support individuals in their respective areas. Here, sports—as a sober means of fulfilling needs—are not seen as a substitute for substance use, but rather, through participation in public sports competitions, can lead to a positive sense of identity in the public sphere.

The Sports University recommended the Flexyfit Sports Academy to me

I have a background in marathon running and also coach groups in marathon training. My personal best in the marathon was 2 hours and 15 minutes. Sports are my life, which is why I’m always on the lookout for training and continuing education opportunities in the sports field. The Sports University recommended the Flexyfit Sports Academy to me.
During my in-person consultation, I decided to pursue the Certified Sports Instructor as well as the Certified Running Coach.
I completed the training specifically to gain further insights for my work. My goal remains to motivate people to participate in sports, to help them build their fitness and train, and to help them rediscover the joy in life.
